On-campus health and well-being resources
Student Health Center
Located across from College Nine and John R. Lewis College, the Student Health Center provides quality health care focused on the particular needs of students. All registered students have access to the Student Health Center regardless of their insurance plan.
The on-campus Pharmacy offers over-the-counter health supplies, contraception, and prescriptions for UC SHIP students.
Campus Mobile Crisis Team (CMCT)
The UCSC Campus Mobile Crisis Team is the first program of its kind on a University of California campus. An accessible, student-friendly, and mobile form of mental health, the behavioral health team provides crisis response services to all members of the UCSC community, with a particular focus on providing support to the unique needs of our student population.
Center for Advocacy, Resources & Empowerment (CARE)
CARE advocates offer free confidential services for survivors of sexual assault, violence, and stalking, including crisis intervention, accompaniment, academic support, accommodations, safety planning, and case management.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS supports UCSC students with mental health services including counseling, therapy, psychiatry, groups and workshops, training programs, telehealth, and a mobile crisis team.
Healthcare Kiosks
Student Health Services now has healthcare kiosks on campus located at the Cowell Student Health Center and the Bay Tree Campus Store. These state-of-the-art machines provide UCSC students and the campus community with 24/7 access to healthcare supplies while promoting sexual health and overall well-being.
Disability Resource Center (DRC)
The DRC provides a variety of services and accommodations to help students with disabilities succeed academically, including note-taking assistance, exam accommodations, assistive technology, and more.
